Amanda Heitz’s research interests arebanking, financial disclosure, ESG, political economy. She has published extensively in top financial journals, like “The Power of the People: Labor Unions and Corporate Social”,Review of Finance,“Corporate Political Connections and Favorable Environmental Regulation Enforcement(with Youan Wang and Zigan Wang)”,Management Science(2021), “Creditor Rights and Bank Losses(with Gans Narayanamoorthy)”,Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis(2021),“Bank Monitoring, Distance, and Delegation(with Christopher Martin and Alexander Ufier)”,AEA Papers and Proceedings(2023). And her paper “The Social Costs and Benefits of Too-Big-To-Fail Banks: A ‘Bounding’ Exercise(with John H. Boyd)” onJournal of Banking & Finance(2016) got2012 Finance Congress in Istanbul Best Paper Award.
